Fortuna Bernstein - German Neudorf only 36 km (approx. 40 minutes) away from the Hirtsteinbaude.
In April 1998, in German Katharinenberg under the former railway line through the entrance to the mine accident "Fortuna" and discovered the idea was born to the development of a visitor mine with Huthaus.
The mine is surrounded by the Fortuna Stolln unsolved puzzles and mysteries.
Over 400 years ago began a story which could not be fully investigated to date.
Why it was kept secret after the filling?
What the covert transportation is at the end of the 2nd World War II?
We owe it to chance that, despite an intensive search with scientists from the Technical University of Freiberg, the input (lip), was ever found.
