The ridge trail Erzgebirge-Vogtland was on 15/01/2011 by the German Hiking Association with the seal of "Quality Walking in Germany" award.

Walking on the 289 km long ridge trail Erzgebirge-Vogtland means to expand his horizons.
No cellphone, no mail receipt, no check prices. So what? Life goes on. Well in fact.
With exciting vistas in an unknown country, with unspoiled nature and wildlife experience.
On the ridge path, life goes on. Do it as well.
Start / finish:
The ridge trail starts in the Erzgebirge-Vogtland Altenberg / Geising in the Erzgebirge, crosses
Erzgebirge and Vogtland. The trail ends at the hub of hiking in Blankenstein / Thuringia.
The trail can be walked in either direction!
